Notes
A man in Count Roderick’s service in an undefined but unsettling capacity; most people at court seem wary of him. In winter, he asks Drustin whether he has noticed anyone making deals with witches.
Madoc retrieval / abduction (orders from above)
Described as the “prince’s man” who claimed Sir Madoc was summoned by his father the King and came to collect/abduct him (witness account: sack-and-boat kidnapping). This is presented as being under authority from Uther’s chain of command (and/or Roderick’s apparatus), not a random bandit act.
Description: policed moustache; spiky leather armor.
