Giant Erge

Giant troubling Stafford and Carohaise. Erge first ate livestock and then began taking people. His tracks lead northeast from Stafford, across a river, and toward the river’s headwaters.

The questers discover not one but two sets of giant tracks: Erge’s and an even larger set. Millicent asks why he eats people, and Erge answers that they feel good in his belly.

Timeline

• 490: Millicent, Sir Geraint, Asterius, and Brother Nerovens follow Erge’s trail and end the session at the edge of a giant’s lair. (Source: Session 033 - The Crown Quest, the Siege of Exeter, and the Giant Erge)
• 490: The questers exploit Erge’s vanity, convincing him that a rival giant has insulted him and stolen his meals. Erge storms off after the second trail instead of fighting them. (Source: Session 034 - Erge, Exeter, and the Hounds of Hecate)
