Notes
Marshland region tied to major Christian and pagan legends. Near the Tor (Tor of Glastonbury (Ynys Wydrin)) and the Abbey of Glastonbury. Considered a “thin place.” Potentially strategically important if Uther seeks to secure a supernatural “gate” while campaigning against Summerland.
Session 033 update
- Dubricus’ vision begins here: the fisherman takes the brilliant “crown” from Glastonbury before carrying it north. The questers also learn the Spear of Longinus and piece of the True Cross remain at Glastonbury, while the Holy Grail was taken north about a century ago. Timeline
- 490: Liam and Drustin find no army at Glastonbury; the monks are cagey and rush them along, and the Duchess watches from the shadows as they leave. (Source: Session 036 - The Sun-Water of Loch Lomond and the Road to Merlin)
